Menorca stars in new film directed by Fernando Colomo

Fernando Colomo, the respected Spanish Film director has filmed his new feature, Isla Bonita (Beautiful Island), entirely in Menorca. “I fell in love with Menorca at first sight . . ” he says. He has been planning the film since he first visited Menorca over 25 years ago. The film has just been presented at the 63rd San Sebastián Film Festival.

Stars of his other films include Antonio Bandera in Bajarse al moro (1989) and Penélope Cruz in Alegre ma non troppo (1994) but Menorca is the star of his latest feature!
